The DfE registration portal is now open for new NPQ registrations for the Autumn 2024 cohort.  

 

There has been an update on funding for the Autumn 2024 cohort. Find out more in the scholarship funding section. In addition to the current NPQs we are delighted to be offering the new NPQ for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators in the Autumn 2024 cohort. Targeted Support Funding Available

From autumn 2022, state-funded schools and state-funded 16 to 19 educational settings in England with one to 600 pupils will be paid £200 for each teacher or leader they employ who takes an NPQ.

Inspire Learning Teaching School Hub will work with UCL to deliver the full suite of newly reformed NPQs.

This will include four specialist NPQs:

National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development

for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers in their school. They may have responsibilities for the development of all teachers across a school or specifically trainees or teachers who are early in their career.

National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching

for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading teaching in a subject, year group, key stage or phase.

National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour and Culture

For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading behaviour and/or supporting pupil wellbeing in their school.

National Professional Qualification for Leading Literacy

This programme will help you to offer all children in your school access to high-quality literacy in their education.

We will also be offering the full suite of Leadership NPQs:

National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership

For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross school responsibilities.

National Professional Qualification for Headship

For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a head teacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.

National Professional Qualification for Early Years Leadership

This programme is designed specifically for leaders of early years education. Through evidence-based professional development, you’ll learn what great early years learning looks like and how to lead others and your setting. You’ll also look at what others can learn from you.

Early Headship Coaching Offer

The Early Headship Coaching offer is designed for those in their first five years of headship. The programme provides structured unassessed support based on the best available evidence about what makes an effective headteacher.

National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership

The anticipated start date for these courses is November 2021 (Cohort 1).  Confirmed dates will be available shortly.
