A Phoenix Rising from the Ashes.

The phoenix is a mythical golden bird associated with renewal and regeneration. Rising from the ashes of its previous life, the phoenix is a symbol of hope, of life and of better things to come, born from the knowledge and experience of difficult times and challenging circumstances.

The past year has been exactly that – the most difficult and challenging of times.  In our settings, schools and providers, we have become experts at managing the uncertainty the pandemic has brought into our lives.

The newly established Inspire Learning North West Teaching School Hub is our phoenix. Built around the values of Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Respect, the hub’s vision is for inspired leadership that creates world class education- for all.

Over the past six weeks, the Core Team (link to website) have worked to lay the foundations of better things to come for educators across the education sector in Liverpool and the Wirral and beyond.

Committed to collaboration, we have established partnerships far and wide to source the very highest quality professional learning opportunities available.

We will be delivering the Early Career Framework (ECF) in partnership with the UCL, Institute of Education. UCL_IoE, have an outstanding international reputation, for both teacher professional development and world class research; first in the world for education (8 years in a row!) The wider enhanced suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) has enabled us to strengthen that partnership, as we will be collaborating to deliver the qualifications with both UCL_IoE and the Church of England/Catholic Education Service.

Our plans are rapidly developing and we will be extending an invitation to all to contribute and help us shape them further in the next few weeks.
